If you are in need of a faster connection to the Internet then Bonded Broadband is the answer. Unlike load balancing you get a truly faster connection presented as one line, a Single Static IP regardless of the number of lines connected.

Here at Broadband Junction we specialise in Bonded Broadband, it's available from us in two different technologies depending upon your requirements.

MLPPP - Multiple lines Terminating on one LNS at the ISP

MLPPP has been around since the days of dial-up its a simple way of joining two or more lines together to get greater throughput. It requires a router that supports MLPPP (and PPPoA if you have BT lines). The router can be in the form of an "off the shelf" product (usually Cisco) or a DIY project using an old PC and either Sangoma S518 PCIADSL Modems or Speedtouch 330 USB modems.

We make no charge for enabling MLPPP on your ADSL lines unlike other providers and can offer some pointers on your DIY project too!

What you need from us will be 2 or more ADSL lines with the same download package on each. Your usage will be spread across the lines.

MLPPP Bonding

VPN Bonding - Multiple Lines across one or more ISP's to give greater throughput and resilience.

VPN bonding joins multiple lines together to increase both upload and download speeds. The lines can be of different types and from different ISP's to give resilience where uptime is a priority. You can bond any type of internet connection that presents a public IP, like ADSL, satellite or HSDPA / 3G.

There is a charge for this type of bonding as it is a managed service. The Router is £199.99, Set-up is £45 and you will require DSL routers if you are using DSL lines. Monthly the Service will cost you £10 plus £10 for any Internet connection that is not with us. There are discounts available for rural locations and projects that receive less than 2mbps on a single ADSL line, ask us for more information.
